The technique
What is Motiva® Preservé™?
Preservé™ is a tissue-preserving breast augmentation technique. Instead of extensively cutting through breast tissue, the tissues are gently prepared and repositioned around a Motiva® SmoothSilk® Ergonomix2® implant.
The pectoral muscle remains intact. The aim is to preserve the breast’s natural anatomy, softness and support as much as possible, with a smaller scar and generally smoother recovery than with many conventional techniques.

Practical information about Preservé™
How large is the scar?
Preservé™ is performed through a short incision in the breast fold. The exact length depends on the selected implant and your anatomy. Your surgeon will discuss this with you beforehand.
Is the pectoral muscle cut?
No. With the Preservé™ technique, the pectoral muscle remains intact. The implant is placed with respect for the natural tissues and supporting structures.
What is recovery like?
Recovery is generally smooth thanks to the tissue-preserving approach. Recovery remains personal: during your follow-up appointments, you will receive clear instructions about wound care, movement, work and exercise.
Can I choose my implant volume?
Your wishes are the starting point. The surgeon will then assess which volume, profile and implant safely suit your breast tissue and body shape.
What warranty applies to the implants?
Motiva® offers warranty programmes subject to specific terms and conditions. Registration within the stated period is important. After surgery, you will receive the correct registration and warranty information.
